Are utilities included?
Yes, our homes are fully furnished and utilities are typically included. Specific details are listed for each property.
Do you allow pets?
Yes! We are pet-friendly with a basic screening and applicable fees required. Requirements may vary by property.
Is background screening required?
Yes. All tenants are required to complete a background and credit screening before confirming a reservation. We use KeyCheck through Furnished Finder, which includes a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, extensions may be possible depending on availability. We kindly ask tenants to provide at least 30 days' notice if they plan to extend their stay. This helps us confirm your new dates or open the calendar for other guests if you plan to move out.
Do you offer discounts for longer-term stays (over 6 months)?
Our pricing is already based on average stays of 3 to 6 months. However, we review each situation on a case-by-case basis and may offer a small monthly discount for stays longer than 6 months.
When will I receive my security deposit back?
Security deposits are returned within 30 days after move-out, provided the home is left in good condition and all lease terms are met.

About the Owners
Katie and Nate Lyon are the co-founders of Goose Real Estate, a family-run business they launched in 2022 with a shared goal: to build something meaningful together while exploring their entrepreneurial spirit.
What started with a single investment property has grown into a professionally managed mid-term rental business focused on comfort, reliability, and exceptional tenant experiences. Katie and Nate believe great housing goes beyond simply providing a place to stay. It's about creating a home where people feel supported and taken care of. With trusted local support near each property, Goose Real Estate is known for showing up when it matters most… even during the occasional late-night jam.
Outside of real estate, Katie and Nate are devoted parents who love spending time with their two kids and making the most of every opportunity to travel. Whether it's a quick local getaway or an international adventure, like visiting the original Legoland in Denmark (because yes, Legos are the best!), family time is always the priority. They're also passionate Formula 1 fans and were excited to attend their first live race in 2026.

Booking and Cancellation
We understand that plans can change. Our policy is designed to be fair, clear, and transparent.
For Airbnb Reservations
- More than 30 days before the start date: Full refund
- 15 to 30 days before the start date: Partial refund
- 14 days or fewer before the start date: No refund
For Direct Booking (Lease Agreement Stays)
- A 30-day notice is required prior to moving out.
- If proper notice is not provided and you choose to move out early, rent already paid is non-refundable.
- If we are able to re-rent the unit during the remaining prepaid period, we may return a prorated amount for the days successfully re-rented.
- If the unit is not re-rented, no refund will be issued.
Exact terms and conditions will always be clearly outlined in your signed lease agreement.
